Command Master Chief Eric G. Hubert

Command Master Chief Eric Hubert is a native of Keansburg, NJ.  He enlisted in the United States Navy in September 1992.  Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando FL, he reported to NATTC Millington, Tennessee, where he completed Aviation Electronics Technician "A" School.   After graduation he reported for his first duty assignment with VF-101, at NAS Oceana, VA.
 
Master Chief Hubert’s sea duty assignments include: VFA-195 Atsugi, Japan, where he served as a Team Member on the Integrated Weapons Team; VFA-97 Lemoore, CA, as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and Maintenance Control Senior Chief and VFA-147, also in Lemoore, CA, where he served as the Maintenance Master Chief Petty Officer.  His shore duty assignments include:  Naval Strike & Air Warfare Center Fallon, NV and Strike Fighter Weapons School Pacific Lemoore, CA.  Master Chief Hubert also served as the Command Senior Enlisted Advisor at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit Lemoore.
 
In February 2016, he was selected for the Command Master Chief Program and transferred in June 2016  to VFA-113, “The Stingers,” at NAS Lemoore CA, where he served as the Command Master Chief.  In January 2019, Master Chief transferred from VFA-113 and checked into NAF El Centro, CA, as the installation Command Master Chief.  June 2021, CMC Hubert checked into the Flying Eagles of Strike Fighter Squadron 122 at NAS Lemoore where he is currently serving as the Command Master Chief.
 
His academic achievements include an Associate’s Degree from Coastline Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College. Additionally he is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class Gray 169) and the CMC/COB Course (Class 158) in Newport RI.
 
Personal awards include two Meritorious Service Medals, five Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, seven Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and various unit and campaign awards.  He has also earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare, Enlisted Surface Warfare, and Master Training Specialist designations.
