27 October 2020 Command Master Chief Amanda L. Davis is a native of Eugene, Oregon.  She enlisted in the United States Navy in June, 1995 and completed Basic Training and Airman Apprentice training in Great Lakes, Illinois.
 
She served as undesignated Airman, Naval Air Station Pensacola Air Department, Florida from 1995-1998 where she was converted to Master-at-Arms.  After completion of Master-at-Arms ‘A’ school, she went on to complete the Military Working Dog Handler course and reported to Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Security Department, Cuba as a Military Working Dog Handler.  Her follow on assignments include Naval Air Station Oceana Security Department, Virginia Beach, Virginia; USS KEARSARGE (LHD-3), homeported in Norfolk, Virginia; Mobile Security Squadron 6, Detachment 25, Portsmouth, Virginia; Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory; Commander, United States Third Fleet, San Diego, California; Coastal Riverine Group One, Detachment Guam, Agana, Guam; Portsmouth Naval Shipyard , Portsmouth, New Hampshire; and Security Department, Commander Fleet Activities, Yokosuka Japan.
 
Master Chief Davis was selected to Command Senior Chief in February 2017 and reported to United States Military Entrance Processing Command, 7th Battalion, San Diego, California where she was selected to Master Chief Petty Officer.
 
Master Chief Davis’ professional military education includes the Master-at-Arms School, Military Working Dog Handler Course, Journeyman Instructor Training, Military Police Investigator Course, Expeditionary Combat Skills Course, Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 181, Green), and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course. She also earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo University, Florida.
 
Her military awards and decorations include the Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS), Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist (EXW), Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (four awards), and various other unit and service medals.
