Command Master Chief Anthony D. Bush

Command Master Chief Anthony D. Bush is a native of Greensburg, Indiana.  He enlisted in the Navy in 2001 and following Basic Training in Great Lakes, IL he attended Intelligence Specialist “A” school, OPINTEL and Ground Intelligence “C” schools at the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center (NMITC), Dam Neck, VA. 

His sea duty assignments include COMSIXTHFLT aboard USS LA SALLE (AGF-3), Electronic Attack Squadron ONE FOUR TWO (VAQ-142) where he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Naval Special Warfare UNIT ONE (NSWU-1) in support of JSOTF-Philippines and 11 theater-level SOF engagements, and the USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN 69) where he served as N2 Department LCPO.  His previous shore duty tours include service as Maritime Watch and Special Programs non-commissioned officer at the Joint Analysis Center (JAC) Molesworth, UK, Fleet Intelligence Training Center Pacific (FITCPAC), San Diego, serving as Training Department LCPO, earning his Master Training Specialist designation, Joint Intelligence Operations Center, U.S. Pacific Command as Senior Enlisted Advisor for the USINDOPACOM Director for Operations and Navy Element Command Senior Enlisted Leader.  He was selected into the Command Senior Chief program in 2018, and has served as Command Master Chief for NROTC Consortium San Diego, Patrol Squadron FOUR ZERO (VP-40), and currently with Electronic Attack Squadron ONE THREE TWO (VAQ-132).  

Master Chief Bush is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 203/Purple), and CMC/COB Course (Class 194), and has been awarded the Joint Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal (three awards), the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal (four awards), and has earned various unit, service and campaign decorations.
