Command Master Chief Pierre Peacock

A native of Wake Forest, North Carolina, he enlisted in the Navy July 2001.  Following graduation of Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Training Support Center Hampton Roads, Virginia, completing Master at Arms “A” School. 

His operational assignments include the former Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron SEVEN Detachment 71, Agana, Guam; Naval Security Forces, Manama, Bahrain; time aboard the amphibious assault ship USS KEARSARGE (LHD 3), Norfolk, Virginia; Naval Security Detachment, Deveselu, Romania; Special Boat Team TWELVE, Coronado, California; and the expeditionary sea base USS MIGUEL KEITH (ESB 5), San Diego, California.   
 
Ashore, he was assigned to Commander Fleet Activities Chinhae, Republic of Korea; Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Louisiana; and Commander Naval Special Warfare Group ONE, Coronado, California.
 
He currently serves as Command Master Chief of the Navy’s second operational F-35C squadron, the VFA-97 “Warhawks” since December 2023. 
 
He is a graduate of the United States Navy Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat (Class 242) and the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 240, Gray).  He holds a Master’s of Science in Strategic Leadership and a Bachelors of Arts in Homeland Security. 
 
Master Chief Peacock has been awarded several personal awards, but he is most proud of his various unit and campaign awards.
