Directions

Naval Air Station North Island: The address for the Main Gate at Naval Air Station North Island is: 300 Alameda Blvd., Coronado, CA.
-- From Downtown or North of San Diego:  Take Interstate 5 South, exit onto the Coronado Bay Bridge (Hwy 75).
-- From East of San Diego:  Take Interstate 8 or State Route 94 West to I-5 South, exit onto the Coronado Bay Bridge (Hwy 75).
-- From the South: Take Interstate 5 North, exit onto the Coronado Bay Bridge (Hwy 75).
 
Once guests cross the Coronado Bay Bridge (Hwy 75), they will be on 3rd Street. Stay in the right lane on 3rd Street until crossing Orange Avenue; then move to the FAR LEFT LANE. Continue on 3rd Street until reaching the entrance to NAS North Island. 
 
Arrival at NAS North Island: BEFORE reaching the gate guards, veer left into the VISITOR parking lot by the Navy A-4 Skyhawk jet, and continue bearing left, park in the last row of spaces along Alameda Blvd.
-- Park and wait for escorts to arrive in two government vans. Members of the Public Affairs staff will meet everyone there.
-- Plan to arrive at the Visitor Parking Lot PRIOR to 7:45 a.m.; unless otherwise directed by follow-up emails or text messages.
-- There are photo restrictions on the installation. Please do not take photos of any of the entry control points or security personnel. Please take photos looking AWAY from the Gate area.
-- If driving to the base, have either rental car documentation; or vehicle registration and proof of insurance for privately owned vehicles.
-- Guests arriving by taxi/limo/Uber/Lyft, will be met in the visitor parking lot and transported by government vans to the passenger terminal.
-- Once all embarking guests have gathered, guests and their vehicles will be escorted onto the base/installation to the Air Passenger Terminal as a convoy, with headlights and emergency flashers turned on. Although the Air Terminal parking lot is secure, do not leave valuables exposed in the car overnight.
-- If the vehicle has a car alarm, please lock the vehicle; but do not turn on the alarm.


Directions to NAS Norfolk, VA 
 
Guests will be met at the Navy Tours and Information Office, Building 177, on the corner of “B” Ave and Hampton Blvd. near Gate 5.
 
From I-64 East/West:
1. Take I-64 (East/West) to I-564.
2. Pass off-ramp for Terminal Blvd.
3. Pass off-ramp for Gates 3/3A.
4. I-564 turns into Admiral Taussig Blvd.
5. Pass the Navy Exchange on left.
6. Turn left onto Hampton Blvd at the last lighted intersection in front of Gates 1 and 2.
7. Turn right into Tour and Information Center just before next lighted intersection at Gate 5.
 
From Norfolk:
1. Drive northbound on Hampton Blvd.
2. Pass Gate 5 on the left while continuing through lighted intersection.
3. Make a U-turn and the Tours and Information Center will be immediately on the right before Gate 5.
 
 
Directions to NAS Jacksonville, FL
 
From Jacksonville International Airport:
Merge onto I-95 S toward Jacksonville.
Take the I-10 W exit, EXIT 352D, toward Stockton St/Lake City.
Merge onto US-17 S/FL-228 W.
Merge onto US-17 S via EXIT 361 on the left toward Roosevelt Blvd/NAS Jacksonville.
Pass & Decal office parking lot at the Yorktown Gate at Naval Air Station Jacksonville
6331 Roosevelt Blvd, Jacksonville, FL.
Turn right before the gate guard into the parking lot.
