Command Master Chief Jeremy Moncier is a native of Maury City, TN.  He joined the U.S. Navy in November 1998.  Following completion of Recruit Training Command Great Lakes Illinois, he attended Aviation Structural Mechanic (Safety Equipment) “A” School in Pensacola, FL.  Upon graduation, he reported to Naval Weapons Test Squadron in Point Mugu, CA in 1999.   

In 2001, Moncier transferred to VAQ-137 “the Rooks” at NAS Whidbey Island.  During his tour, he deployed aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and USS Enterprise (CVN-65); advancing to Third and Second Class Petty Officer.  After a successful sea tour, he transferred to VAQ-133 “Wizards.”  While deploying twice to Afghanistan in 2005 and 2007, he served as Leading Petty Officer and Quality Assurance Representative leading to promotion to First Class Petty Officer.
After his second sea tour, he reported to Naval Recruiting District Miami as a production recruiter in 2008.  In 2009 he was advanced to Chief Petty Officer while serving as Recruiter-in-Charge of Naval Recruiting Station Temple Terrace.  After recruiting, he returned to expeditionary duty reporting to VAQ-138 in 2011.  He completed deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Misawa Japan.  During his time as a Yellow Jacket, he served as Aircraft Division Chief, Maintenance Controller, and Maintenance Supervisor.
Following his third sea tour, he reported to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training in 2014.  He served as a Defense Acquisitions Specialist for the F-35 program and helped establish CNATT’s Ready Relevant Learning initiative in support of Sailor 2025.  His efforts led to his selection as Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2017.  In 2018, he transferred to VFA-25 “Fist of the Fleet”, and served as the Maintenance Control Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor while deployed aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72).  In March 2020, he assumed the role as Command Master Chief until January 2021.  In August 2021, He was selected to Master Chief and given orders to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit Lemoore.  Moncier was selected for Command Master Chief in March 2022 and assigned to his present command at Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron One (VQ-1).
Command Master Chief Moncier is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 208 and the CMC/COB Course (22050).  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia College, Missouri.  His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (six awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven awards), and various unit and campaign awards.  He is married to his wife Jaye and has two children, Dean and Cienna.
