Past Outreach Activities

 

High Desert ACE

Cmdr. Brandon “F-Pole” Miller from Strike Fighter Weapons School Pacific flew in an F/A-18 Super Hornet from Naval Air Station Lemoore to High Desert, CA on June 17 to provide students from Aerospace Career Education (ACE) Academy an opportunity to tour the Super Hornet.

Every summer, OBAP - Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals hosts the ACE Academies for middle and high school students in underrepresented communities to expose them to the different career paths available in aviation fields. To date, ACE Academies have engaged more than 30,000 students.
