25 October 2020 A native of Port Orchard, WA, Command Senior Enlisted Leader Smith reported to Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, IL, in July 2004 and began her career as an Aviation Adminstrationman.
 
She has served several sea duty tours, including Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron ONE ONE FIVE (VAW-115), Atsugi, JA; Commander Fleet Air Forward Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (CFAF AIMD), Bahrain; USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), Bremerton, WA; and Strike Fighter Squadron ONE FOUR SEVEN (VFA-147), Lemoore, CA.
 
Her previous shore tours include Helicopter Maritime Strike Wing, Atlantic Detachment (HSMWL DET JAX), Jacksonville, FL; and Strike Fighter Squadron ONE TWO TWO (VFA-122), Lemoore, CA.
 
Smith is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Newport, RI, (Class 236/Purple). Her personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (x3), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (x3), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (x3), and various campaign and operational awards.  She is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (AW), Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (SW), and Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist (IW).
