25 October 2020 Command Master Chief Kyle Davis is a native of Greenwood, Indiana and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May of 2001.  He completed Basic Training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois, followed by Aviation Machinist Mate “A” School in Pensacola, FL. 

Master Chief Davis’ sea duty assignments include USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) San Diego, CA, USS O’Kane (DDG 77) Pearl Harbor, HI, and HSM-37 Kaneohe Bay, HI. 

His shore assignments include Executive Transport Detachment Kaneohe Bay, HI, AIMD Kaneohe Bay, HI, HSL-37 Kaneohe Bay, HI, and Navy Personnel Command Millington, TN.  He also completed a tour as the Command Senior Chief of the Memphis, TN Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). 

Master Chief Davis earned a degree in Business Management from Park University.  He is also a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 194) and the CMC/COB Course (Class 190), both in Newport, Rhode Island. 

His personal awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various other unit and campaign awards.  He is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist.

He reported onboard as the Command Master Chief of the VFA-154 “Black Knights” in August of 2021.
