Command Chief Robert J. Buschman II

Command Chief Buschman graduated from Fox High School in Arnold, Missouri class of 2005. After graduation he entered the Navy and arrived for basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL in August 2005.
 
Following Recruit Training he arrived at the USS Ronald Regan (CVN-76) as an undesignated Airman. In August 2006 he struck for Aviation Structural Mechanic (AM) and attended “A” School at NAS North Island. He has been stationed at Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 43, Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 41, Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 146, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, and in 2021 he reported to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 14.
 
Chief Buschman has completed detachments/deployments onboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76), USS Gary (FFG-51), USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG-60), USS Nimitz (CVN-68), USS Coronado (LCS-4), USS Carl Vincent (CVN-70), USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS-10), and the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72).
 
Chief Buschman has worked on the MH-60B/R/S Helicopters, F/A-18C/E Legacy and Super Hornets as well as the MQ-8B/C Fire Scout.
 
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (nine awards), Volunteer Service Medal, and various other unit and campaign awards. He is authorized to wear the Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist breast insignia and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist breast insignia.
