Command Master Chief Aaron J. Beugler

Senior Chief Aaron J. Beugler is a native of Arcata, California and enlisted in the Navy in August 2000.  Following completion of Basic Training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL, he reported to NAS Pensacola, FL, where he completed Naval Aircrew Candidate School (NACCS) along with Aviation Rescue Swimmer School (ARSS) and Aviation Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems Operator (AW) “A” school.  After NAS Pensacola, he reported to the HS-10 “Warhawks” in San Diego, CA for initial fleet training as an SH-60F and HH-60H Naval Aircrewman.
 
His first command was the HS-14 “Chargers” stationed onboard NAF Atsugi, Japan where he served as a Tactical Sensor Operator (TSO) while completing multiple 7th Fleet deployments and one 5th Fleet deployment in 2003 onboard USS KITTY HAWK (CV-63).  During this tour, he was promoted to Petty Officer Second Class and attained his Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS) warfare pin.
 
 His second tour was back to the HS-10 “Warhawks” in San Diego, CA as an instructor training the newest Naval Aircrewmen prior to entering the fleet.  He attained his Master Training Specialist and was promoted to the rank of Petty Officer First Class.
 
In December 2009, he reported to the HS-6 “Indians” in San Diego, CA and completed two WESTPAC deployments.  During his tenure at HS-6, he graduated from the Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor (SWTI) Course in Fallon, NV and helped transition the command from the legacy aircraft to the new MH-60S while being a plank owner for HSC-6.
 
In June 2014, he reported to Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) Fallon, NV where he qualified as an MTS Mentor; he was also promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer and served as the Standardization CPO and Operations LCPO.
 
In June 2018, Senior Beugler reported to the HSC-12 “Golden Falcons” located on NAF Atsugi, Japan where he deployed onboard USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN-76).   He completed multiple deployments to the 7th Fleet AOR and served as the Operations DLCPO.  During this tour, he attained his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) warfare pin and was promoted to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2021.
 
In September 2021, Senior Chief Beugler reported to the HSC-3 “Merlins” and terminated his shore duty to fill a gapped billet with the HSC-8 “Eightballers” to assume to job of Operations DLCPO and Admin DLCPO.  Senior Chief Beugler is currently serving as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader at Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron EIGHT stationed onboard Naval Base Coronado, CA.
 
His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards) and various unit and campaign awards.  He is also a graduate of Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 261.
