Commander Master Chief Antonio J. Jaramillo

Senior Chief Jaramillo has built a distinguished career in the United States Navy, demonstrating remarkable dedication and leadership. Hailing from Jemez Valley, New Mexico, he embarked on his naval journey in September 2002. After initial training at Recruit Training Command (RTC) in Great Lakes, Illinois, and completing Aviation Electricians Mate A school in Pensacola, Florida, he was assigned to Strike Fighter Wing Detachment (SFWD) in Fallon, Nevada.

His early career saw him transfer to Whidbey Island, Washington, in 2005, where he significantly contributed to Patrol Squadrons FOUR SIX (VP-46) and FOUR ZERO (VP-40), engaging in deployments across the 7th, 6th, and 4th Fleet Areas of Responsibility (AORs). Additionally he served at OPNAV Sea Duty Component Dallas, TX. 

Beyond his sea duties, Senior Chief Jaramillo served ashore as the Special Operations Coordinator Navy Recruiting District Phoenix and as the P-8A Operational Test and Evaluation Leading Chief Petty Officer for AIRTEVRON ONE (VX-1) in Patuxent River, Maryland, showcasing his versatility and leadership in various capacities.

Currently, he is fulfilling his final sea duty tour at Patrol Squadron ONE (VP-1) in Whidbey Island, Washington, serving as the Acting Command Master Chief. His academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and is a graduate of the Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy, underscoring his commitment to both personal and professional growth.

Senior Chief Jaramillo's service has been recognized through multiple commendations, including two Navy Commendation Medals, three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and several sea service and unit awards, reflecting his outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to the Navy and his country.
