A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, she enlisted in the U.S. Navy April of 1992 and attended Basic Training in Orlando, FL. Following by Aviation Electrician’s Mate “A” school in Millington, TN, and C2-A Framp in San Diego, CA.

Her sea duty assignments include Fleet Logistics Support Squadron FIVE ZERO (VRC-50), Fleet Logistics Support Squadron THREE ZERO (VRC-30), Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron EIGHT (HS-8), Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron ONE FOUR (HS-14), Strike Fighter Squadron TWO (VFA-2), and Strike Fighter Squadron ONE THREE SEVEN (VFA-137). Ashore she was assigned to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron TEN (HS-10) and Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL.

In 2016, she was selected for the Command Master Chief program and reported to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron SEVEN EIGHT (HSM-78) upon graduation, where she currently serves. She served onboard Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Wing from November 2019 to July 2022. She reported onboard as NAWDC Command Master Chief in August 2022.

Master Chief Magee is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy. She holds an Associate’s Degree from Columbia College of Missouri.
