Command Master Chief Kassidy Gordon

Master Chief Gordon was born and raised in Arlington, Indiana.  After graduating from Rushville Consolidated High School, she entered the Delayed Entry Program and graduated from Basic Training in Great Lakes, Illinois in May 2005. 
Master Chief Gordon’s sea tours include USNS NIAGARA FALLS (T-AFS 3); Network Administrator in USS MOUNT WHITNEY (LCC 20); Combat Communications Leading Chief Petty Officer in USS MESA VERDE (LPD 19) and Senior Enlisted Leader at COMDESRON THREE ONE. While at COMDESRON THREE one, she deployed ast the Mission Staff CMC for Pacific Partnership 2023. She also deployed as an Individual Augmentee to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa in Djibouti, Africa where she served as the Information Management Office Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge as well as the Flag Communicator for the Commanding General and his Chief of Staff.
Ashore, she served as Server Manager at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Naples, Italy; NCTAMSLANT Navy and Marine Corps Intranet Detachment; and Senior Enlisted Leader at Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command.
Master Chief Gordon reported to Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility San Diego in October 2023 where she serves as the Command Master Chief.
Master Chief Gordon holds a Masters and Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security from University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Networking. She has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (five awards), as well as various other unit and service awards
