Command Master Chief Jason M. Chadderton

Command Master Chief Chadderton grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, enlisting in the United States Navy in September 1998.  Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported for duty as an undesignated Seaman Recruit aboard USS BRIDGE (AOE-10).  In January 2001, he reported to Naval Intelligence Training Center Dam Neck, Virginia for Intelligence Specialist 'A' School Upon graduation.  He reported for duty Commander Amphibious Group ONE (COMPHIBGRU ONE). Later he then reported to Naval Aviation Technical Training Center Pensacola, Florida for Aviation Machinist Mate 'A' School. Upon graduation, he reported for duty at Fleet Readiness Center West (FRC West) Lemoore, California, from October 2003 to January 2007.  His subsequent fleet assignments were Electronic Attack Squadron 136 (VAQ-136), Atsugi, Japan from April 2007 to April 2009, Fleet Readiness Center West Sea OPDET (FRC West) Lemoore, California, from April 2009 to July 2011, Strike Fighter Squadron 192 (VFA-192) from September 2011 to September 2014.  He then reported for shore duty at Strike Fighter Squadron 122 (VFA-122) from October 2014 – November 2017.  Then reported to Sea Duty at Carrier Air Wing TWO from December 2017 to December 2020.

Master Chief Chadderton currently serves as the Command Master Chief, Airborne Command and Control and Logistics Wing.  His previous Command Senior Enlisted assignment was Command Master Chief, Air Test and Evaluation Squadron NINE (VX-9) From May 2022 – January 2025, Command Senior Chief, Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, CA, from December 2020 – April 2022.

Master Chief Chadderton is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 227, Green), CMC/COB Course (Class 221) and Major Command CMC Course (Class 017).  He is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist. His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), and numerous unit and campaign awards.
