Commander Timothy Charlebois

Commander Tim Charlebois, a native of Yorba Linda, CA, commissioned in 2003 through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps after graduating from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  CDR Charlebois was designated as a Naval Flight Officer in July 2005 and qualified as a Weapons System Officer (WSO) in the FA-18F Super Hornet.
 
CDR Charlebois’ operational assignments include Assistant Operations Officer in Strike Fighter Squadron TWO (VFA-2), Training Officer in Strike Fighter Squadron ONE FIVE FOUR (VFA-154), and Operations and Maintenance Officer in Strike Fighter Squadron TWO ONE ONE (VFA-211).  He has deployed from the East and West coast in support of the greater Indo-Pacific region and multiple Arabian Gulf operations.
 
Ashore, CDR Charlebois served as a Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor at Strike Fighter Weapons School Pacific (SFWSP), after graduating from the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), and as the Strike Fighter Readiness Officer for the Chief of Naval Air Forces, Pacific.  Additionally, CDR Charlebois achieved graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and the United States Naval War College.
 
CDR Charlebois has logged over 2500 flight hours and 400 carrier arrested landings, including 66 combat missions.  He credits his personal, unit, and service awards to the dedicated sailors with whom he has had the privilege to serve alongside.
