Command Master Chief Jeffrey R. Geiser

Command Master Chief Geiser was born in Pennsylvania and enlisted in the Navy in June 1998. Following recruit training in Great Lakes, Illinois he transferred to Naval Hospital Corps School also in Great Lakes for Hospital Corpsman “A” School.
He has served in a myriad of assignments to include Naval Ambulatory Care Center Portsmouth New Hampshire, 2nd Medical Battalion 2nd Force Service Support Group Camp Lejeune, Naval Hospital Oak Harbor Washington, Naval Health Clinic Quantico Virginia and was selected to Chief Petty Officer in 2009. In April 2010, he transferred to 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune NC where he served as Regimental Senior Enlisted Leader for more than 450 Sailors. In 2013 he transferred to Naval Health Clinic Charleston and served as Undersea Medicines Departmental Leading Chief Petty Officer (DLCPO). In 2016 he transferred to USS GUNSTON HALL (LSD 44) and was selected to Senior Chief while serving as the Medical DLCPO and then served as the Command Senior Enlisted Advisor during a six month gapped billet. In 2019 reported to the USS SENTRY (MCM 3) to serve as the Command Senior Chief, earning the Battle “E” for 2019. In February 2021 he reported to the Fort Jackson Military Entrance Processing Station and served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor in a Joint command. After being selected to Command Master Chief he reported to PATROL SQUADRON NINE, in November 2021 to serve as the Command Master Chief.
Command Master Chief Geiser earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Sports Management and is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 213/Blue) and CMC/COB Course (Class 198). His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal (six awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), and various other personal and unit awards. He is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS), Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist (FMF), Expeditionary Warfare Specialist (EXW), and Surface Warfare Specialist (SW).
