Command Master Chief Randall T. Bonine

Command Master Chief Petty Officer Randall T. Bonine is a native of Miles City, MT. He graduated from Custer County District High School, Miles City MT in 1989 and entered the U.S. Navy in 1993 after earning an Associate of Science Degree from Northwest College in Powell, WY.
Master Chief Bonine completed Boot Camp in San Diego, CA and Aviation Structural Mechanic Apprentice School in Millington, TN before reporting to his first duty station of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron FIVE in Agana, Guam. His follow-on tours included Electronic Attack Squadron ONE THREE EIGHT from April, 1997 to January, 1999 where he completed an around-the-world deployment aboard USS NIMITZ (CVN 68); Navy Recruiting District Denver, CO from March, 1999 to August, 2002 serving as the Recruiter in Charge of Navy Recruiting Station Scottsbluff, NE; Electronic Attack Squadron ONE FOUR TWO from September, 2002 to May, 2006 deploying to Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Japan as the Airframes and Line Division Leading Petty Officer; Navy Personnel Command from June, 2006 to June, 2009 where he served as the AM Rating E-6 Detailer and Aviation Homeport, New Construction Detailer; Strike Fighter Squadron ONE THREE SEVEN from July, 2009 to March, 2013 completing two extended deployments aboard USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72) as the Flight Deck Coordinator, Maintenance Control Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor. Additionally, he served with Strike Fighter Squadron ONE TWO TWO from April 2013 to August 2014 where he served as the Aircraft Division Leading Chief Petty Officer before his selection for the Command Senior Chief Program. Master Chief Bonine’s previous command tours include the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Fort Lee, VA, Strike Fighter Squadron ONE THREE SIX and Fleet Readiness Center West in Lemoore CA. Master Chief Bonine is currently the Command Master Chief of Carrier Air Wing SEVENTEEN.
Master Chief Bonine’s military awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards) and various unit and service medals and ribbons. He has earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist designations, is an honor graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 183 Gold, and graduated from the Navy Leadership and Ethics Center CMC/COB course.
