Command Master Chief Javier Villasana

Master Chief Javier Villasana is a native of Houston, Texas and enlisted in the U.S. Navy October 1997. He completed Basic Training and Machinist Mate "A" School in Great Lakes, Illinois.

Master Chief Villasana previous duty station and assignment include: USS LaSalle (AGF 3), Gaeta, Italy; USS DENVER (LPD 9), San Diego, CA; SIMA San Diego, USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63), Yokosuka, Japan; USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73), Yokosuka, Japan; USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72), Everett, WA; Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, CA; USS FRANK CABLE (AS 40), Guam, USA; Amphibious Squadron One embarked on USS ESSEX (LHD 2), San Diego, CA; Littoral Squadron One, San Diego, CA.

In 2023 he was selected to the Command Master Chief Program, His Senior Enlisted assignments include; COMMANDER, Amphibious Squadron One, San Diego, CA. He currently serves as Command Master Chief of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA-25) Naval Air Station Lemoore, California.

Master Chief is a graduate of Senior Enlisted Academy Class 224, CAPSTONE award recipient and graduate of the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course Class 176. He holds an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College.

Master Chief Warfare qualifications include Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Surface Warfare Specialist and Information Warfare Specialist. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy Achievement Medal (four awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (two awards), Joint Meritorious Unit Award and other various unit and campaign awards.

He is married and has three children.
