Captain Kyle A. Aduskevich

CAPT Aduskevich, a native of Southington, Connecticut, graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  He commissioned in 2002 from Officer Candidate School, Pensacola, Florida, and earned his wings as a naval aviator in 2004 out of Kingsville, Texas.  Selecting EA-6B Prowlers, he was sent to NAS Whidbey Island, Washington and reported to Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 129 for initial training.
 
Following completion of EA-6B training in 2005, his first fleet squadron was with the "Rooks" of VAQ-137, where he served two deployments on board USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65) and to Al Asad Airbase, Iraq in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM from February 2005 to October 2007.
 
In 2008, CAPT Aduskevich graduated from the Electronic Attack Weapons School (EAWS) as a Prowler Tactics Instructor. Upon graduating PTI, he reported to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106 in Oceana, Virginia where he transitioned to the FA-18E/F Super Hornet. In November 2008, he returned to NAS Whidbey Island, Washington where he was the first EA-18G Growler instructor at EAWS.  He also assisted VAQ-129 with the first EA-6B to EA-18G transition squadrons during this time. 
 
In February 2011, he reported to Naval Aviation Warfare Development Command (NAWDC), NAS Fallon, Nevada where he was selected to be in the first Growler Tactics Instructor (GTI) course. After completion of GTI, he remained at NAWDC continuing his instructor tour at N10 (HAVOC). 
 
In March 2013, he reported back to VAQ-137 as the Training Officer. In June 2014, he reported to the Patriots of VAQ-140 for his Department Head tour. During this tour he completed an eight-month deployment on board USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 75) in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.
 
In November 2016, CAPT Aduskevich reported to the Joint Staff at the Pentagon, Washington, DC. He served on the Joint Staff, J8 Force Application Division working electronic warfare requirements for the Joint Force. During his time on the Joint Staff, he also supported the Electronic Warfare Executive Committee for the Vice Chairman. 
 
CAPT Aduskevich commanded VAQ-133, the Wizards from September 2020 to November 2021.  During his command tour, he selected Major Command (AVN) and reported to Navy Nuclear Power School in January 2022.  He is now the Big XO of USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71).
