Command Master Chief Wolfinger enlisted in the United States Navy at Naval Recruiting District (NRD), Sacramento, California in September 2001, and attended Boot Camp at Recruit training command (RTC) Great Lakes, Illinois. Upon after graduation, she completed Hospital Corpsman “A” school and Field Medical Service School, San Diego, California. She also graduated as an Independent Duty Corpsman November 2009.
Her previous duty stations and assignments include USS BULKELEY (DDG 84) Norfolk, Virginia; USS CARTER HALL (LSD 50) Virginia Beach, Virginia; SHOCK/TRAUMA PLATOON, 2ND MEDICAL BATTALION, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; Naval Hospital Hawaii, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Treatment Center; Leading Petty Officer Deployment Health Clinic, Branch Medical Clinic Sewell’s Point; Marine Corps Recruiting Depot, Parris Island as Battalion Aid Station Leading Petty Officer and Independent Duty Corpsman and her Immediate Superior in Command duty was completed at Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic Medical Readiness Division as a ship inspector/preceptor for 2nd Fleet assets. She was promoted to Senior Chief Petty Officer June 2018 and in February 2021 selected to Command Senior Chief. She was promoted to Command Master Chief in February 2023 while serving as Senior Enlisted Advisor for Military Entrance Processing Station New Orleans.
Command Master Chief Petty Officer Wolfinger’s professional military education includes the Senior Enlisted Academy class #236 (Khaki) and the CMC/COB Course. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration from Trident University and is qualified Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist and Surface Warfare Specialist.
Her decorations include a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Joint Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards ), and various unit and campaign awards.
