Command Master Chief Bradley Wissinger

Command Master Chief Bradley Wissinger is a native of Dublin, Georgia. He enlisted in the Navy in June 6th, 2005, reporting to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes. Upon completion of basic training, he completed Basic Enlisted Submarine School (BESS) and Machinist's Mate “A” and “C” schools at Naval Submarine School in Groton, Connecticut.
 
In January 2006 he reported to USS NORFOLK (SSN 714) in Norfolk, Virginia and completed three CENTCOM deployments. In October 2010 he reported to Performance Monitoring Team Norfolk for his first and only shore tour. In August 2013, he reported to USS HARTFORD (SSN 768) as the Maintenance and Material Management Coordinator (3MC) and was advanced to Chief Petty Officer in September 2014. He completed one EUCOM deployment and ICEX 2016. In November 2016 he reported to USS DELAWARE (SSN 791) as Auxiliary Division Leading Chief Petty Officer for initial outfitting and construction. He completed all phases of new construction including builder’s sea trials, commissioning, and was advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer. In July 2020, he reported to USS TOLEDO (SSN 769) as Chief of the Boat. He completed a homeport change from Groton, Connecticut to Norfolk, Virginia for Engineered Over Haul in Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was advanced to Master Chief Petty Officer in July 2021. In February 2023 he was selected for lateral conversion to Command Master Chief and in October 2023, he reported to Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron Four Zero (VRM 40) where he currently serves as the Command Master Chief.
 
CMDCM(SS/AW) Wissinger graduated from the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 211 Gold as a member of the Dean’s List in February 2018 and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Capstone Course Class 010 in October 2021. His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Two Awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (Eight Awards), Good Conduct Medal (Six Awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Sea Service Ribbon (Four Awards), Arctic Service Ribbon, Enlisted Submarine Warfare and Enlisted Aviation Warfare insignias along with various unit service and campaign awards. He is married to the former Aimee Respass of Virginia Beach, VA. They reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia with their sons Chase and Landen and daughter Tatem.
