Command Master Chief Aaron J. Beugler

Master Chief Aaron J. Beugler is a native of Arcata, California and enlisted in the Navy in August 2000.  Following completion of Basic Training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL, he reported to NAS Pensacola, FL, where he completed Naval Aircrew Candidate School (NACCS) along with Aviation Rescue Swimmer School (ARSS) and Aviation Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems Operator (AW) “A” school.  After NAS Pensacola, he reported to the “Warhawks” of HS-10 in San Diego, CA for initial fleet training as an SH-60F and HH-60H Naval Aircrewman.

His sea duty assignments include HS-14 “Chargers” deploying on USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63), HS-6/HSC-6 “Indians” deploying twice on USS NIMITZ (CVN 68), HSC-12 “Golden Falcons” attached to USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76), and HSC-8 “Eightballers” deploying with USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71).  

Other assignments include a tour as a Fleet Replacement Squadron Instructor at HS-10 “Warhawks” and as an instructor at Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) with the SEAWOLF N8 department.  

He was selected for the Command Senior Chief program during his tour with HSC-8 and reported to USS PIERRE (LCS 38) as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader where he was promoted to Command Master Chief.   He currently is the Command Master Chief at HSC-8 “Eightballers” homeported at Naval Air Station North Island.
    
His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards) and various unit and campaign awards.  He is also a graduate of Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 261.
