Sailor Injured While Working on F-35C

A Sailor assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 97 was injured yesterday evening while performing routine maintenance on an F-35C Lightning II aircraft at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif.
A Sailor assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 97 was injured yesterday evening while performing routine maintenance on an F-35C Lightning II aircraft at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif. The Sailor was given immediate emergency care at the scene and was transported to a hospital in Fresno, Calif. via helicopter. The Sailor is in critical yet stable condition and the incident is under investigation.
