Command Master Chief Amanda L. Davis is a native of Eugene, Oregon.  She enlisted in the United States Navy in June, 1995 and completed Basic Training and Airman Apprentice training in Great Lakes, Illinois. She completed the Master-at-Arms School, Military Working Dog Handler Course, Journeyman Instructor Training, Military Police Investigator Course, and Expeditionary Combat Skills Course.  She earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo University, Florida.
 
Her operational assignments include deployments aboard USS KEARSARGE (LHD-3) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; deployments with Mobile Security Squadron 6, Detachment 25 to Kwahr Al Amaya Iraq Oil Terminal in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; deployments with Coastal Riverine Group One, Detachment Guam aboard USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) in support of Pacific Partnership 2012 and aboard USNS OBSERVATION ISLAND (T-AGM 23) in support of Cobra Judy operations in the South China Seas; and deployments with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4 aboard USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70) in support of 3rd & 7th Fleet operational taskings. 
 
Shore assignments include Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Security Department and Naval Air Station Oceana Security Department as a Military Working Dog Handler; Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory as a military police investigator; Commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet, San Diego, California as the N34 anti-terrorism leading chief petty officer; Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery Maine as the operations chief petty officer; and Fleet Activities, Yokosuka Japan as the security department leading chief petty officer.
 
Davis was selected to Command Senior Chief in February 2017 and reported to United States Military Entrance Processing Command, 7th Battalion, San Diego, California where she was selected to Master Chief Petty Officer and served as the Command Master Chief of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4.  She is currently serving as the Command Master Chief of Airborne Command Control & Logistics Wing located in Point Mugu, CA.
 
Master Chief Davis’ military awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (four awards), Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS), Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist (EXW), Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS), and various other unit and service medals.  She is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 181, Green), and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 174)
