Virtual Female Aviator's Career Training Symposium 2020

Your CNAF Diversity and Inclusion Team is excited to bring you FACTS 2020:  Strengthening Naval Aviation through Leadership and Mentorship and building on previous year’s successful symposiums that highlighted many of our past and current Aviation leaders.  We know how important FACTS is to the development of our female aviators, and we are pleased to present several guest speakers and important topics here for you in a virtual environment.

What you will find in virtual FACTS 2020

Virtual Symposium.  In this section, you will find many exciting videos to explore starting with updates to Naval Aviation in the Air Boss' Welcome Message.  The CO’s Leadership Talks present personal interviews on different aspects of leadership; Aeromedical Updates from our CNAF Aeromedical Safety Officer; important conversations on Behavioral Health and Mental Resiliency; and platform specific resources.  Take this opportunity to check them all out.

Professional Development.  This section includes various resources for your personal growth, such as the Recommended Reading Lists from the Air Boss, Commanding Officers, and CNAF Diversity and Inclusion, along with Ted Talks videos on leadership.

How Can I Get Involved.  In this section, you will find a sampling of the many different affinity groups with whom we partner for outreach events as well as photos of previous outreach events.  We have also provided an Outreach Volunteer Survey for you to let us know where you would like to get involved to interact with students, educators, and occasionally as guest speakers in your local and national affinity group events.

Feedback.  Finally, in this section, please take a few minutes at the end of the symposium to complete the FACTS 2020 Feedback Survey.  Let us know what you loved, ask us questions, and tell us what you would like to see in future FACTS.  Here you will also find the FACTS 2020 Mentorship Survey where you can answer some questions about your experience with mentoring.  We highly value your insight and input.
