The world's finest off-wing aviation maintenance command Fleet Readiness Center West is located aboard Naval Air Station Lemoore, resting in the center of California's sunny San Joaquin valley. One of the nation's richest agricultural areas, the farmland of the San Joaquin Valley supports a major portion of the world's food supply. With this small town and agricultural atmosphere, you will meet some of the friendliest people you have ever come in contact with. Additionally, NAS Lemoore is centrally located between many points of interest such as; Los Angeles and San Francisco, Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks, Carmel, Morro Bay, and the beaches of the Monterey Peninsula. We provide the highest quality Intermediate and Depot Level aviation maintenance, component repair, and logistics support to the Fleet both locally and around the world, in the fastest, safest, most cost efficient manner possible. We enhance Fleet readiness and combat capability for our warfighters. Our Command consists of over 1,600 dedicated personnel comprised of Active Duty and Reserve Sailors and Marines, Civil Service employees, and supporting contractors. It is these men and women that have made our Command the premier organization known as Fleet Readiness Center West. Other aviation maintenance activities belonging to the FRCW organization structure are located at NAS Fallon, NV, NAWS China Lake, and the JRB Fort Worth, TX.
