After completing recruit training and specialized submarine school, he embarked on his career with numerous sea and some shore assignments. His sea duties have included service on the submarines USS TOPEKA (SSN-754), USS ALBUQUERQUE (SSN-706), and USS PASADENA (SSN-752), the destroyer USS PINCKNEY (DDG-91), and with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron FOURTEEN (HSC-14). His shore assignments have taken him from San Diego to Basrah, Iraq, and included roles with Submarine Squadron ELEVEN and the floating dry-dock ARCO. A graduate of the Command Master Chief / Chief of the Boat Leadership Course and the Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Academy, he has held significant leadership roles, including Chief of the Boat on USS PASADENA and Command Master Chief on ARCO, USS PINCKNEY, and HSC-14. He currently serves as the Command Master Chief for Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron THREE. While he is authorized to wear many awards, Master Chief Kwiecinski is most proud of the seven Battle “E” awards earned alongside his shipmates.
