Master Chief Aircraft Maintenanceman Marcum

Senior Enlisted Advisor, Naval Aviation Training Support Group

31 December 2020 Master Chief Marcum is a native of Walton, Kentucky. He enlisted in the United States Navy in April of 1999 and attended basic training at Recruit Training Center Great Lakes, Illinois. Following basic training, he attended Aviation Structural Mechanic “A” School in Pensacola, Florida. Upon graduation, he reported to Sea Control Squadron FOUR ONE (VS-41) in San Diego, CA.

Master Chief Marcum’s duty assignments include Sea Control Squadron FOUR ONE (VS-41), Sea Control Squadron TWO TWO (VS-22), Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit Jacksonville (CNATTU JAX), Helicopter Anti-Submarine Light FOUR FOUR (HSL-44), Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron SEVEN FOUR (HSM-74), Air Test and Evaluation Squadron ONE (VX-1), and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron EIGHT (HSC-8).

He is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 196 – Gold).  He holds an Associate’s Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

In October 2018, Master Chief Marcum assumed his duties as Senior Enlisted Leader at Naval Aviation Training Support Group New River, NC (NATSG).
