Commander Frank Verducci

Executive Officer, Patrol Squadron (VP) 46

10 June 2021 Commander Frank Verducci hails from Burlingame, CA. He graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2005 earning a Bachelor of Science in History.  He was designated a Naval Flight Officer (NFO) in May 2007.  He holds a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.  

In March of 2008, he reported to the Golden Eagles of Patrol Squadron NINE (VP-9) where he served as NFO Training Officer deploying to the FIFTH and SEVENTH Fleet. His qualifications included Mission Commander and Instructor Tactical Coordinator. 

In June 2011, he reported to the Patrol Squadron THIRTY for duty as a Fleet Replacement Instructor.  He served as the P-8A NATOPS NFO Track Lead/Division Officer.  His qualifications included Weapons and Tactics Instructor and Fleet NATOPS Evaluator.  

In January of 2014, he reported to Expeditionary Strike Group SEVEN to serve as the Flag Aide to Amphibiouos Force SEVENTH Fleet/Task Force 76 where he deployed aboard USS PELELIU (LHA 5) and USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6) with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade in support operations and bi-lateral exercises through the SEVENTH Fleet AOR.

In April 2016, he reported to VP-16 for his Department Head Tour.  He served as the Safety/NATOPS Officer, Training Officer, and Operations Officer.  While deployed to the SIXTH Fleet AOR from May 2017-October 2017, he served as the CTU 67.1.1 OIC, responsible for a three aircraft, 62 personnel detached to two Norwegian locations.

In September 2018, he reported to the Joint Staff at the Pentagon as part of the J-36, Nuclear and Homeland Defense Operations.  He is a Joint Qualified Officer as well as a qualified Presidential Strike Advisor and Assistant Deputy Director for Operations.  

Commander Verducci has accumulated over 1,900 flight hours.  His personal decorations include a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, an Air Medal (Three Strike Flights), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), as well as various unit citations and campaign awards.
