Master Chief Ramos, a native of California, enlisted in the United States Navy in October 1995.  Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois he attended Airman Apprenticeship Training program (ATD).

Upon graduation, he reported for duty to the Diamondbacks of Fighter Squadron ONE ZERO TWO (VF 102), in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he advanced to Aviation Storekeeper (AK), deploying onboard USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) in 1998 and USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CVN 67) in 2000.  In May 2003, he reported to Strike Fighter Squadron ONE FOUR SIX (VFA 146) Blue Diamonds, deploying onboard USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70) in 2003 and USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74) in 2007.  In July 2010, he reported to USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72), where he completed two deployments in support of FIFTH, SIXTH and SEVENTH Fleets.

In January 2019, he reported as the Command Master Chief to the World Famous Rooks of Electronic Attack Squadron ONE THREE SEVEN (VAQ 137) deploying onboard USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 75) in support of Operations RESOLUTE SUPPORT and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL.  In February 2021, he reported as the Command Master Chief to the “First to the Fleet, First to the Fight” Electronic Attack Squadron ONE THREE TWO Scorpions (VAQ 132), where he completed two highly successful INDOPACOM deployments.

His shore duty assignments include MCAS Miramar Aviation Supply, Strike Fighter Weapons School Pacific (SFWSPAC), Fleet Readiness Center Northwest (FRCNW) and Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake, as the Installation Command Master Chief.

CMDCM Ramos assumed as the Command Master Chief at Commander Electronic Attack Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CVWP) in April 2024.

Master Chief Ramos is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 198, Brown), Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 165), Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Senior Shore Leadership Course and Advanced Command Master Chief Course (Class 001).  He is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS) and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS).  His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards), and numerous unit and campaign awards.
