     Master Chief Custodio is a native of the Philippines and enlisted in the Navy on March 14, 1995. After Basic Training, he reported to Hospital Corpsman “A” School in San Diego, CA. and sent to Naval Medical Center San Diego for his first tour as a Hospital Corpsman.
     In September 1998, he reported to the USS CORONADO (AGF-11) San Diego, CA. Upon completion of sea duty, he reported to Naval Health Clinic, Pearl Harbor, HI in 2002. During his tour, he was accepted to Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman “C” School and graduated in November 2005.
     On December 2005, he checked on board the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN-74), Bremerton, WA where he re-qualified as Enlisted Surface Warfare, qualified as Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, and was selected promoted to Chief Petty Officer.  In August 2008, Chief Custodio reported to Afloat Training Group Pacific Northwest, Everett, WA and became a shipboard senior medical assessor/trainer.  
     Chief Custodio reported to Basic Enlisted Submarine School and Naval Undersea Medical Institute, Groton, CT in March 2012 to complete his conversion from Surface to Submarine Force Independent Duty Corpsman. In September 2012, he reported to the USS SEAWOLF (SSN-21) in Bremerton, WA and completed two Northern Atlantic deployments as the Medical Department Representative and was selected to Senior Chief and Master Chief Petty Officer.  
     On October 2016, Master Chief Custodio reported to Naval Branch Health Clinic Everett, WA as the Senior Enlisted Leader and in 2018 he was selected to the Command Master Chief Program.   In January 2019 he reported to PATROL SQUADRON FORTY-SIX where he completed the command’s last P-3C Orion and transitioned the command to P-8A Poseidon squadron which completed its maiden deployment to the FIFHT, SIXTH, AND SEVENTH FLEET.  He reported to Fleet Readiness Center North West in September 2021 as the Command Master Chief.
     Master Chief Custodio’ s personal achievements include: Graduate Naval War College Senior Enlisted Academy #213, Command Master Chief Course # 194 and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration.   His personal award include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (6), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3), and various unit and campaign awards.
